I won't end my fast, declares Anna Hazare
Addressing his supporters the veteran social activist said that the rulers were looting India.

New Delhi: Anna Hazare, who is on a fast-unto-death at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar demanding strict anti-corruption laws, on Thursday declared that he was willing to continue his fight till was alive. He said that his battle against corruption would not end any time soon. Addressing his supporters the veteran social activist and Gandhian declined to end his indefinite hunger strike and said "this is a do-or-die movement".

"If the Government does not listen to our demands then people will force this Government out of power. The 2G, Adarsh Society, Commonwealth Games and other scams got exposed because of the RTI (Right to Information Act). Now it is the time to put the culprits behind bars for which Lokpal Bill is necessary. My hunger strike would not end till the Bill is passed. This is a do-or-die movement," said Hazare.

Demanding a clean political system the 72-year-old anti-corruption crusader said, "Corrupt ministers should not be included in the Cabinet."

He also demanded transparency in selection of people in the joint committee that has been promised by the Government.

"We are equally responsible for electing such corrupt politicians. Why do we vote such people?" he said while asking people to elect only those leaders who were not corrupt.

Amid loud applause he said that while scams were coming to light every day, not a single corrupt leader was being punished.

What's your reaction?
