KOCHI: The passengers of a KSRTC bus and a private mini bus had a providential escape after the two vehicles collided head-on near a petrol pump on the Goshree Road here on Saturday. At least 20 people, including 12 women and four children, were injured in the accident, the police said.The KSRTC bus was proceeding to Ernakulam from North Paravoor when it collided with the private mini bus, carrying an engagement party, going to Kodungalloor from Kollam. The injured people have been admitted to the Ernakulam General Hospital. The drivers of both the vehicles are also among those who have been hospitalised. Most of the injured were from the mini bus. The KSRTC bus was moving on the wrong side of the road while trying to overtake another vehicle, police said.
