Golden jubilee of SBM union

BANGALORE: Festive spirit prevails at the State Bank of Mysore on Avenue Road as the employees are gearing up to celebrate their union’s golden jubilee.The Employees Union has planned a day of celebrations at Mount Carmel College on Sunday.“The Employees Union was formed way back in 1960 to put an end to the miserable working conditions of the employees and to uphold the dignity of labour,” the President of Employees Union, H S Hiriyannaiah said.“Employees development and Bank’s development go hand in hand,” Venugopal, a bank employee said.
