Gaurav More is one of the prominent names in the Marathi entertainment industry when it comes to performing comic acts or roles. He entertained the audience with his comic stint in the show Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra as well. More, however, has now left the show to act in another comic program Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge. His decision, however, didn’t go down well with some of the fans and one of them criticised him heavily.
In the comments section of the promo of his upcoming episode, a user compared him to singer Ranu Mondal. According to the user, Mondal thought that she would become a prominent figure because of the instant fame received due to her singing but she couldn’t. The user added that since More is performing such poor jokes, he is destined to have a similar fate. The user also came heavily against the fact that the 26-year-old comedian is performing in Hindi instead of Marathi. The London Misal actor replied that first, the user should have the courage to post his profile picture on Instagram. More also asked the person whether he talks with his family in a similar language with the family members.

Other social media users also criticised More and said that he had left Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra for money. His fans rooted for him and replied to the trollers that it is someone’s personal opinion to work wherever they want. The fans also questioned the trollers about whether they had the skills to perform the comic acts on the stage.
In his career to date, More has gone through a lot of struggles. He performed in Ananda Karekar’s play Jalu Bai Halu as an actor. The 26-year-old comedian slowly began to act in plays and sketches written by Prasad Khandekar. In 2022, More played an important role in the drama Hawa Hawai.
In a segment of Rajshri Marathi, Gaurav More shared the challenges he endured during his struggling period. Talking about his financial problems, he said, “We used to live in Ulhasnagar in a tarpaulin house near the station. Then we moved to Vitthalwadi. But, my mother says that I was suffering there which is why we left that place too and shifted to Kalyan.”
