The launch of the luxury skincare and haircare brand Augustinus Bader on Tira was a star-studded affair. Several renowned names from Bollywood, including Neetu Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Karan Johar, attended the event in Mumbai last night. A video from the launch featuring Neetu Kapoor has been widely circulated on the internet. The veteran actress can be seen arriving at the event, looking effortlessly gorgeous in an all-black outfit consisting of a long-sleeved turtleneck top and loose-fitted trousers.
Neetu paired her outfit with striking red heels, opted for dainty jewellery pieces, and carried a chic handbag. At 66, Neetu Kapoor can give the younger generation a run for their money with her stunning looks. In a video, Neetu playfully asks the paparazzi, “Itne photo ka kya karoge (what will you do with so many photos)?” as they continuously insist she strikes different poses. When the paps say it will be the last stop, she stops and poses, flaunting her smile before she heads inside.
Not long ago, Neetu Kapoor talked about the secret behind her ever-glowing skin. During a conversation on Mira Kapoor’s podcast Skin and Within, the 66-year-old actress said, “I am into skincare. I take care of my skin. But I am not obsessed with it. It’s just cleansing and moisturising; I don’t do toners and stuff like that. What I follow is retinol. For years, I have been using retinol once a week. It helps more than a facial. I have never used an SPF. I have never used oil.” The other two guests, Athiya Shetty and Kusha Kapila, then pointed out that the veteran actress is “just blessed”.
In other news, when her son Ranbir Kapoor turned 42 on September 28, the doting mother did not hold herself back from expressing her heartfelt wish for him. She shared a video of Ranbir lying down on a patch of green grass while gazing at the stars. She posted the video while announcing the launch of her son’s new business venture. Neetu wrote, “Son, brother, husband, father and now founder. Happy birthday Ranbir, hope the birth of @ARKS makes this one even more special. Can’t wait to see your journey unfold. My blessings n pyaar.”
On the work front, Neetu Kapoor, who made her acting debut in the late ‘60s, was last seen in the 2022 family drama Jugjugg Jeeyo, where she starred alongside Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, among others.
