Four members of a family, including a mother, grandmother, a seven-year-old child, and a one-and-a-half-month-old infant, lost their lives in a horrific accident in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Saturday. The family was travelling from Amravati to Pune on Friday when the accident occurred near Limbe Jalgaon village. The family was reportedly en route to Pune following the birth of the baby, born after a decade-long wait.
Ajay Besarkar and Shubhangini Sagar Gite were among the survivors while seven-year-old Durga Sagar Gite and her six-month-old sibling along with mother Mrinalini Ajay Besarkar and grandmother Ashalata Popalaghote were among the deceased.
