Calcutta HC orders house arrest for Saradha case accused Madan Mitra
Mitra was admitted to Woodlands Hospital after he complained of uneasiness.

The Calcutta High Court on Thursday put West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra, an accused in the Saradha chit fund scam case, under house arrest. The minister has been put under house arrest till November 17.

Mitra has been asked to stay indoors except for investigation or medical emergency. The case will be heard by division bench of the High Court next on November 17.

This move comes two days after Mitra was admitted to a hospital while the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) moved the Calcutta High Court sought cancellation of his bail.

Mitra was admitted to Woodlands Hospital after he complained of uneasiness.
