The BJP on Wednesday criticised the state-of-affairs of Jharkhand during the last six months under President's rule and demanded that the Jharkhand Governor issue a white paper on its performance during the tenure.
"Development work was standstill whereas loot, rape, murder, spurt in naxal activities became a routine during last six months under President's rule," Jharkhand BJP's spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale said. He alleged that the transfer-posting of officials had dominated the six month tenure of the President's rule while demanding that a while paper should be released to highlight its achievements during the last six months.
Castigating the JMM and Congress for destabilising the Munda-led coalition government, Kale said the process to form an alternative government by JMM-Congress-RJD alliances in the state will be a "government of tainted, jailed, bailed and absconder leaders", which would miserably failed to deliver. Expressing doubt about the functioning of the new government, Kale said the leaders supporting the Hemant Soren-led coalition government will be bothered about their own interest rather than the interest of the masses.
