It was time for the 'Billa II' crew to step up and appreciate the team effort displayed by the cast at its maiden press meet. The core unit of the movie, sans actor Ajith, was present at the meet sharing their experiences while working in the film.
But the one who had the most to say about the film and Kollywood was Vidyut Jamwal — the uber cool villain of the film.
“Producers should be like Sunir Kheterpal,” he said, referring to the CEO of IN Entertainment. I have worked in five films but have not met one like him,” he said.
About the other producer Suresh Balaje, he said, “Only after meeting him did I realise that men in Chennai have that extra edge which we North Indians lack. And I’m learning from them.”
The other person he is pleased with is cinematographer RD Rajasekar. “He told me stuff about Chennai and how the Tamil film industry functions,” he said.
Describing both the girls in the movie, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah, as gorgeous, he said he has often been asked how Bruna is as a person. “She is hot and you will witness it on screen,” he said.
