Southern actress Archana Kavi, who is making her debut in Telugu films with '123', says once she finishes a project, she doesn't worry about its outcome and neither does she find language a barrier.
"I don't have expectations from a film because I sign a project only if I find the story and my character interesting. After having done that there is absolutely no need for me to worry about the outcome of the film, but to prepare for my role instead", Archana told IANS.
"As long as you understand the director and act accordingly, there's absolutely no reason to worry about the language. Each language has a style and I'm trying to understand it by watching films in that language," she added.
In contemporary love story "123" (1-life 2-loves and 3-hearts), director Madhura Sreedhar has cast the 22-year-old as a bubbly character. She is paired with Mahat Raghavendra and 'Colors' Swathi.
How are you preparing for your role?
"Slowly, I am growing into the skin of my character. Lately, I have been looking at myself as Priyanka because I play this very bubbly role that everyone wants to watch on the big screen," she added.
She started her cinematic journey with highly successful Malayalam film "Neelathaamara" and says that acting was not on her wish list.
"I come from a typical Malayali middle-class family and acting was never considered a profession by us. I was doing my internship with Malayalam channel, in Kerala and I used to review films. I was spotted by director Lal Jose on one of the shows and was offered the role in my first film," Archana told IANS.
Summing it up, Archana said that as an actress, one should be flexible and should not restrict oneself to a particular genre.
