HYDERABAD:  Finance minister Anam Ramanarayan Reddy suffered from exhaustion while presenting the state budget for 2012-13 in the Assembly on Friday. While reading the 42-page budget speech, Ramanarayana Reddy suddenly took a break and sat down in his seat, catching the legislators by surprise. He was offered water immediately, and I-T minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah took over from him to read out the remaining portion of the speech. Lok Satta Party MLA N Jayaprakash Narayan, a qualified doctor, went to the finance minister and checked his pulse. After a few minutes, Ramanarayana was back on his feet and concluded the budget presentation. "I was just feeling restless. I did not have proper sleep in the last few days,"  he said.
