Sources added that Dawood was trespassing without valid documents and that he was earlier arrested in Delhi under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and then bailed out by a court.

The Afghan national wanted to enter Pakistan via the Line of Control and then cross over to his country the sources claimed. "He is being questioned and further details are awaited," sources said, ruling out his links with militancy.
