2G: Kanimozhi likely to be charged on April 25

New Delhi: Sources have told CNN-IBN that Karunanidhi's daughter and DMK MP Kanimozhi is likely to be charged on April 25 in the 2G spectrum case.

Other beneficiaries in the 2G spectrum scam will also to be chargesheeted. The supplementary chargesheet will focus on the Rs 200 crore money trail from Swan to Kalignar TV. Loop Telecom is also on the radar.

The CBI had earlier raided the office of Kalaignar TV in Chennai in which Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's wife Dayaluammal was one of the owners.

Kanimozhi, Dayaluammal and Sharad Kumar, Managing Director of Kalaignar TV, have 20, 60 and 20 per cent shares in the channel respectively.

Kanimozhi has been questioned by the CBI in the past.
