An explosives-laden car hit a police station on Kohat Road of Peshawar.
Islamabad: At least 10 people were killed and some 40 injured in a suspected suicide bombing in northwestern Pakistan Saturday, Express TV reported.
The blast took place when an explosives-laden car hit a police station on Kohat Road of Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province (NWFP), the report said.
Two buildings near the police station collapsed in the blast and a number of people were buried under the rubble, the report said, adding that some of the injured had been moved to hospital.
The country was holding on Saturday the presidential election to elect a new head of state to succeed Pervez Musharraf who resigned last month.
