Ahead of the Vinayaka Chaturthi, actor Naveen Polishetty has been basking in the success of his recently released film Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The actor on Monday visited Khairatabad Ganesh in Hyderabad. The actor also performed a special puja and offered prayers for the success of the film.
While interacting with the crowd at the venue, Naveen said that he offered prayers and sought blessings for his fans to have a good education and growth of the devotees. For the day, he donned a grey kurta that he layered with a grey Nehru coat with a Gerua dupatta. The actor also shared glimpses from the day on his Instagram Stories. In the re-shared video, Naveen can be seen standing from his car’s sunroof and greeting his fans.
The Chhichhore actor in another clip can be seen clicking selfies with his fans while he greets the crowd.
Speaking of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, the film also features Anushka Shetty as the female lead. It was released in theatres on September 7 and is directed and written by Mahesh Babu P. The story of the film revolves around Anushka Shetty’s character who is a feminist and wishes to spend her life as a bachelorette but also wants to have a child of her own. On the other hand, Naveen’s character who is a stand-up comedian wants a committed relationship.
The film also features Keshav Deepak, Jayasudha, Nassar and Murli Sharma among others in crucial roles.
At the box office, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty witnessed a huge dip on Day 12 as it earned approximately Rs 1 crore taking the total to Rs 23.29 crore in the domestic collection. The film grossed Rs 25.2 crore in India and Rs 14 crore overseas, taking the worldwide collection to Rs 39.2 crore. It saw an overall 23.78 per cent Telugu occupancy on Monday. On day 13, the film is expected to earn Rs 89 lakh.
