In Mobile Legends, you might know the hero Layla. She's known for her basic attack range over turrets and can kill people in an instant. However, Layla is also known to be the least durable of all heroes, and can be a feeder if not used properly. Fortunately, this wikiHow article can teach you how to play her to protect her durability and her ADC skills.
Know the cons of playing as Layla. While Layla can be a valuable choice in some situations, Layla has the lowest durability in the game. She'll need tanks around her side for a bit. She also has to watch her distance, as soloing alone can be an issue when being ganked.
Use her Passive. Her Passive is named Malefic Gun and can randomly scale the distance between her enemies with a 100% - 140% chance per Basic Attack. This can also be assisted from Destruction Rush, so distance yourself when using Layla.
Check the 1st skill. Her 1st skill is named Malefic Bomb and has some nice advantages when aimed into a minion/hero. When aimed, she can increase her attack range for 3 seconds and her movement speed. Use this skill to make her a "hit-and-run" ganker, as her movement speed can improve her chances of escaping team fights with low HP.
Manage the 2nd skill. Her 2nd skill is called Void Projectile and can fire an energy ball to an enemy hero and marking them. If you manage to hit the enemy again, you can hit their bottom HP line again and stun the enemy for 0.25 seconds. It is a target-locked skill, so you are guaranteed to get your enemy without missing.
Use her Ult. Her Ultimate is called Destruction Rush and can fire an energy blast at an increased distance. This can be great to finish an enemy off if they don't have as much HP as before. This skill can also increase Layla's attack range, which can be enough to shoot outside of the turret's range (on max level). Take it as an advantage to push without assistance.
Know what battle spell is appropriate. Due to her low durability, using Flicker is a choice when needed if you have low HP. You can also use Flicker to trick the enemies, and then fight back when appropriate.
Select battle equipment. As with all Marksmen, Layla should use an attack-speed/critical equipment, including Scarlet Phantom, Berserkers Fury, Windtalker, Swift Boots, Demon Hunter Sword, and Endless Battle. This does not include Golden Staff, as critical damage is removed when buying this equipment. If you'd want, you can add Defense equipment, including Immortality and Guardian Helmet to protect her HP.
Adjust her emblem. You are better off selecting the talents for the Marksman emblem, including Fatal (for increased critical damage to basic attacks), Weapon Master (physical equipment increases by 5%), and Weakness Finder (basic attacks have a chance to slow enemies). On the other hand, you can swap one of the talents to Quantum Charge (she recovers HP and increases her movement speed) or Master Assassin (if there is one enemy hero, she gets increased damage).
Know her combo. Her combo is Void Projectile, Malefic Bomb, and Destruction Rush. This combo should be used when on a team-fight and you want to dominate the enemies suddenly.
