Milan clubs in Tevez talks with City: report
According to reports Inter Milan sporting director is talking with City officials in London.

Milan: Both AC Milan and Inter are currently discussing prospective deals with Manchester City for wantaway striker Carlos Tevez.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Nerazzurri sporting director Marco Branca is talking with City officials in London, while Gazzetta dello Sport is claiming that Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani is to meet up with both Tevez and his representative, Kia Joorabchian, in Rio for a planned video conference with directors from the Premier League leaders.

Tevez has already held talks with Milan and, according to Galliani, is only interested in signing for the Italian champions.

However, the Rossoneri have thus far been unable to conclude a deal for the Argentine because of their reluctance to adhere to City's request to undertake an obligation to buy the player at the end of his proposed loan period at San Siro.

Consequently, Inter still believe that they can steal Tevez away from the clutches of their city rivals and have reportedly sent Branca to London to meet with City's chief football operations officer, Brian Marwood, in an attempt to do just that.

However, as reported by Goal.com on Wednesday, after previously stating they were willing to wait until the end of the January transfer window to thrash out a deal, Milan are now stepping up their efforts to make a significant breakthrough in their negotiations with City inside the next week.

That is why Galliani, even though he is officially on holiday in Brazil, has, in conjunction with Joorabchian, seemingly set up a conference call with City directors.

Tevez has not played for City since allegedly refusing to come on as a substitute in the English outfit's Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier this season.
