Luck was on Paraguay's side, says Brazil's Pato
After their elimination from the Copa America, Pato and Neymar cited luck as the masters of their demise.

La Plata: Having lost out to Paraguay 2-0 on penalties after failing to find the target in over 120 minutes of football, Brazilian stars Alexandre Pato and Neymar reflected on their side’s defeat citing "luck" as the masters of their demise.

After a game of half chances and near misses couldn't break the 0-0 deadlock, Brazilian ace Pato lamented the loss telling reporters after the match that both luck and the pitch were to blame.

"Today the luck was on their side. The pitch was bad, was terrible. But we tried until the end, try to do what we had to do and we fought," said Pato.

"This happens and we have to take this defeat as a lesson for the future."

Young gun Neymar also spoke of his team's misfortune but was quick to acknowledge his side's inability to grasp opportunities.

"We lacked a little bit of luck. We created a lot, but didn't take advantage. Unfortunately, Paraguay was better on the penalty shoot-out," said Neymar.
