It is no secret that Salman Khan will soon be returning to television with the 18th season of his popular show Bigg Boss. While everyone is excited to know who will be participating in the controversial reality show this time, News18 Showsha has now exclusively learnt that actress Priyal Gor is likely to be one of the contestants.
Sources close to the actress have told us that Priyal has been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss 18. While she is in talks for the show, she has not finalised her participation as of now. “Yes, it is true. Priyal was approached for Bigg Boss 18. She has held discussions with the makers and is excited about it. Most likely, she will finalise her participation and sign the contract soon,” an insider told us.
Priyal is known for television shows like Ram Milaye Jodi, Ichhapyaari Naagin and Dekha Ek Khwaab among others. She was recently seen in the film Maharaj, which marked the acting debut of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan. Previously, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, the 29-year-old actress opened up about how got on board for Khan’s film when she revealed that Maharaj’s director was the producer of one of her previous shows.
“I actually got lucky with this project. The director of this movie, coincidentally, was the producer for a previous project I was involved in. During the uncertain times of lockdown, I had reached out to him, expressing my interest in future projects. He later called me and offered the role of Leelavati in Maharaja. Since it was a small role, he wasn’t sure if I would be okay with doing it. But considering the project, I really wanted to be a part of it,” she told us.
Meanwhile, talking about Bigg Boss 18, the show is likely to premiere in September this year. Reportedly, several actors including Sameera Reddy, Kashish Kapoor, Dolly Chaiwala and Sheezan Khan among others have been approached for the show. However, no name has been officially confirmed as of now.
