Chhattisgarh Fire And Emergency Services Dept Announces 2215 Vacancies For Posts Of Home Guard
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Chhattisgarh Nagar Sena Recruitment 2024 online.

Chhattisgarh’s Nagar Sena Fire and Emergency Services Department has invited applications for 2215 vacant posts of Home Guard. The online applications for these posts will start on July 10. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website at firenoc.cg.gov.in. The last to apply for an application is August 10.

There are 500 vacancies for Nagar Sainik (general duty) and 1715 vacancies for women Nagar Sainiks. According to the notification, women Nagar Sainiks will be appointed in residential institutions for female students under the integrated action plan related to the safety and protection of women and girls.

Educational Qualification

To get recruited for Nagar Sena posts, candidates of general, OBC and SC categories should have passed the 10th class or higher secondary examination under the 10+2 system. While the ST category candidates must have passed the 8th class. Educational qualification for applicants from Naxal-affected families (General Category, Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Caste category) should be 8th pass and for Scheduled Tribe applicants from Naxal-affected families, they should be 5th pass.

Application Fee

The candidates from the General Category and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 300 while the SC and ST will have to pay Rs 200 as the application fee.

Age Limit

The age limit for this recruitment is between 19 to 40 years. The maximum age limit for surrendered or members of Naxal-affected families has been fixed at 45 years.

Physical Parameters

The height of the candidates for general, SC and OBC categories is 168 cm or above. While the height of the candidates from the revenue districts South Bastar, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Bastar, North Bastar, Kanker, Korea, Surguja and Jashpur is 153 cm or above. 158 cm for male and female candidates of the ST category of remaining revenue districts. Chest without expansion – 81 cm (76 cm for ST) and after expansion, 86 cm (81 cm for ST) for the men.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on the marks in the physical test, written test and bonus marks. In the physical test, men will have to pass a 100-meter race, an 800-meter race, a long jump, and a high jump. Women will have to pass an 800-meter race, long jump and high jump.
