The Border Security Force (BSF) has released an official notification to recruit candidates for different vacant posts. Eligible candidates planning to apply can access the registration link at rectt.bsf.gov.in.
As per the notification, the registration window commenced on March 17 and will be closing on April 15. Ahead of the deadline, let us take a look at the details of the vacancies in BSF.
Vacancy
BSF is going to recruit as many as 38 vacant seats through this recruitment drive. The vacant posts include 1 position in head constable (plumber); 1 in head constable (carpenter); 13 posts in constable (generator operator); and 14 and 9 other posts in constable as generator mechanic and lineman, respectively.
Salary
The selected candidates for head constable posts will be given a monthly salary on Pay Matrix Level 04 with ranges between Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. The selected candidates for the constable post will be given a monthly salary on Pay Matrix Level 03 which is between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
Eligibility
According to the release, the educational qualification varies as per the offered posts. For the plumber and carpenter posts as head constable, the applicant requires a matriculation pass or its equivalent with an ITI certificate in the respective subject.
On the other hand, for the post of generator operator, generator mechanic, and lineman post as constable, the candidates require a matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board with an ITI certificate in their respective field.
Besides, the applicant needs to qualify for the physical standards which are 165 cm of height for males, and 157 cm for female candidates. Additionally, the minimum age limit to apply for the job is 18 years and the highest bar is at 25 years.
Application Fees
The application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 100 as examination fees and an additional Rs 47.20 as service charges levied by the Common Service Centre. The reserved category candidates and women candidates have been exempt from paying any application fees.
