AFMS Recruitment 2024: Applications Open For 450 Medical Officer Posts. Deets Inside

Armed Force Medical Services (AFMS) is inviting online applications for the recruitment to the post of Medical Officer. It has released a total vacancy of 450 seats. It includes 338 posts for men and 112 for women. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of AFMS – https://www.afmcdg1d.gov.in/. The last date to apply is August 4. Step 2: On the homepage, click on the recruitment link.

Step 3: Register yourself with your basic contact information and other details.

Step 4: Use your registered ID and password to access the application form.

Step 5: Fill out the application form by submitting your required details.

Step 6: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 7: Pay the required application fee.

Step 8: Submit and download the application form.

The application fee for the candidate is Rs 200. According to the Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment Notification, candidates must have completed MBBS from any recognised University/Board to become eligible for the post. The maximum age should be below 30 years for MBBS and 35 years for postgraduate applicants. Age relaxation is given to the candidates subject to reservation. It will be 3 and 5 years for OBC (NCL) and SC/ST respectively.

It is important to note that the candidates who provide the right information and required documents will be called for further selection stages by the Armed Forces Medical Services based on their criteria. The selection process for the post of Medical Officer in the AFMS consists of two stages – Interview and Document Verification.
