Australian Marnus Labuschagne claimed one of the best outfield catches during Glamorgan’s Vitality T20 Blast match vs Gloucestershire on Thursday at Cardiff.
Labuschagne ran in from long-on dove full stretch and held on to an incredibly tough chance with one hand before being mobbed by his teammates.

However, despite the fantastic effort, Labuschagne’s Glamorgan lost the match by two wickets. After opting to bat first, Glamorgan posted 140/6m riding on opener Sam Northest’s 42-ball 46*, Colin Ingram’s 25 and Dan Douthwaite’s 21. Labuschagne, batting one down, managed 18 off 15.
For Gloucestershire, Matt Taylor picked 3/21 from his 4.
In the chase, Gloucestershire were rocked early succumbing to 45/5. The fifth wicket to fall was of Ben Charlesworth courtesy Labuschagne’s brilliant effort in the field. However, skipper Jack Taylor’s 48-ball 70 proved to a match-winning knock as Gloucestershire edged Glamorgan by two wickets, chasing down the target off the final delivery of the match
