Mumbai: City-based Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd on Thursday posted a 23 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 368.02 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 298.98 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income rose 39 per cent to Rs 1456.33 crore for the second quarter in 2006-07 from Rs 1048.45 crore during the same quarter in 2005-06, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
A decision to set up a company, HDFC Property Ventures Ltd, for undertaking the business of managing property funds was approved by the board at a meeting held on Thursday, the company said.
