Shiva Rajkumar became the talk of the tinsel town with his recently-released movie Ghost, directed by Srini. Ghost was a remarkable success at the box office and won adulation from critics as well. Now, Shiva Rajkumar is all set for his forthcoming film titled Uttarakaanda. The news of him joining the film’s cast recently made news. As per latest reports, he will be playing a key role in this film. Uttarakaanda’s director Rohith Padaki has been reportedly focussing on Shiva Rajkumar’s character in the film. There are no official confirmations about these new developments. These reports, however, indicate that Shiva Rajkumar might play the lead role in this film. The name of his character and other details are still to be known. Sharath Manjunath is working as the director for Uttarakaanda.
Not only for Shiva Rajkumar, this film has been in the spotlight for other sought-after cast members as well. This includes the extremely popular Atul Kulkarni. Atul Kulkarni has received accolades for his exceptional acting prowess and significant contributions to cinema. He is especially known for her acting skills in the Marathi film industry and has built a remarkable career. Atul steps into the role of a prominent character in the film named Baro. Atul’s adept command of the language spoken in the Northern Carnatic region equips him to authentically portray his character. Ramya, Dhananjaya, and Diganth have also acted in this movie which is currently in the production stage. KRG Studios has produced this film.
Anand Audio unveiled a glimpse of this film on August 22. The glimpse promises that Uttarakaanda is going to be a gangster drama. Its backdrop is set against the Northern region of Karnataka. The glimpse shows how a police officer lets off a criminal with a warning. The officer warns him of an encounter if he indulges in any criminal activity in his area. The criminal walks out but soon returns with a gift box for the officer. There were explosives in the box that killed him. “With the blessings of the fans, we present Gabru Sathya", the clip ends with these words.
The audience appreciated the glimpse and the background music as well.
