Volkswagen launches its latest Virtus and Taigun Sound Editions, setting the stage for a sensational musical encounter on wheels.
Just weeks post the Taigun Trail Edition’s debut, Volkswagen ignites the scene with these new offerings, unleashing unparalleled sonic indulgence for car enthusiasts across India.
Priced attractively at Rs 15.52 lakh for Virtus Sound Edition and Rs 16.33 lakh for Taigun (all prices, ex-showroom), these models maintain their original mechanics, prioritizing an unmatched musical journey similar to the Nissan Magnite Geza edition.
True to their name, the Sound Editions boast an enhanced audio experience with a cutting-edge speaker and amplifier system, alongside the luxury of powered front seats—a premium feature previously exclusive to the GT Plus variants. Skoda echoes this innovation by incorporating similar upgrades in their sedan, the Slavia.
Elegantly marked with distinctive badging on the C-pillar and doors, these editions also offer the choice of contrasting roof and wing mirror colors exclusively for the Taigun. Available in four stunning shades—Lava Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red, and Rising Blue—these editions exude style and sophistication.
Under the hood, the special edition vehicles are equipped with a 1.0-litre TSI engine generating 115 bhp and 178 Nm, seamlessly coupled with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox for an exhilarating drive.
The Virtus stands tall against rivals like the Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and Maruti Ciaz, while the Taigun competes fiercely with the Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the Skoda Kushaq, setting a benchmark in the segment.
