WWE Superstar John Cena Reveals More Dates For Farewell Tour in 2025
The 16-time World Champion announced that he shall be stepping down from the ring and hanging his boots up at the end of 2025, bringing to end an almost 25-year-long career with the wrestling franchise.

Legendary WWE Superstar John Cena has broken more details of his much-awaited farewell tour in a recent interview.

The 16-time World Champion announced that he shall be stepping down from the ring and hanging his boots up at the end of 2025, bringing to end an almost 25-year-long career with the wrestling franchise.

The news of his retirement and the farewll tour were initially announced at this year’s WWE Money in the Bank, with more details being revealed in interviews since then.

Now, speaking to Collider, noting that the retirement tour would follow the end of filming for the second season of ‘Peacemaker’, Cena talked about the tour and conveyed his gratitude for his fans.

“I can probably confirm that Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE,” stated Cena.

“I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January. I’ll end it in December, and it’s going to be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So that’s what I’m doing in 2025.”

“I’m grateful, the audiences have been there for me for close to 25 years now, so I just want to say thank you.”

The tour will see the WWE legend be a part of next year’s Royal Rumble, the first WWE Raw on Netflix, and in what is being billed as the former WWE Champion’s final WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

More details on the specific dates are yet to be released over time.
