The latest episode of the WWE NXT took place on Tuesday, April 2, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The big NXT pay-per-view, Stand & Deliver, is just days away, and this episode provided some enthralling action.
First up, The OC’s Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde of LWO, and Nathan Frazer and Axiom squared off in a Triple Threat Number One Contenders’ match for the NXT Tag Team title match against Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin at Stand & Deliver.
The episode, though, was dominated by a number of bouts between female Superstars. Fallon Henley took on Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice faced Karmen Petrovic, Arianna Grace matched up against Wren Sinclair, and Blair Davenport took on Sol Ruca.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom to face Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin for the NXT Tag Team title
After defeating The LWO, and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to secure their position as the top contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles, Nathan Frazer and Axiom have officially confirmed their trip to Stand & Deliver. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro matched the speed of Frazer and Axiom, but Gallows and Anderson’s physical power battled with their quick and athletic opponents. Eventually, Frazer unleashed a 450 Splash on Del Toro and then pinned him to seal the berth at Stand & Deliver.
Jacy Jayne’s win over Fallon Henley further intensifies the feud
Fallon Henley’s brute strength seemed to be overpowering Jacy Jayne as the former took control in this match. Henley attempted to rescue her friends Thea Hail and Kelani Jordan, after Kiana James and Izzi Dame attacked them. When she got back to the ring, Jayne caught her with a running knee strike, winning via pinfall.
More than anything else, this match set up the six-woman Tag Team match at Stand & Deliver, where Fallon Henley, Thea Hail and Kelani Jordan will take on Izzi Dame, Kiana James, and Jacy Jayne.
Shawn Spears blasts Joe Gacy with a steel chair before Oba Femi unleashes relentless attacks
As Joe Gacy prepared to confront Oba Femi for their match, Shawn Spears entered the arena and used a steel chair to strike him from behind. Before the match even began, Femi approached Gacy and pulled him into the ring. Early on, Gacy took a huge backbreaker, and the NXT champion him around for a while. Gacy was unable to stand again, therefore, the referee was forced to end the contest.
Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes’ heated exchange ends with a locker room battle
Carmelo Hayes and his security crew were trailed by Trick Williams, who wasn’t accompanied by anyone. As they toasted to their wonderful collaboration, Melo accused Trick of “ruining everything for everybody.” Before Melo compared Williams’ pursuit of the NXT Title to him pursuing his girlfriend, Trick said that Melo had destroyed everything. Melo predicted that although Trick is leading, the fans will soon turn against him as well. Trick observed that Melo was envious of him. A brawl broke out before the majority of the locker room roster joined the security personnel and officials.
