No Endorsement? No Worries! US Senator Tim Scott’s Girlfriend Gives the Only 'Yes' That Matters
Senator Tim Scott bowed out of the Republican presidential race and backed former US president Trump earlier this week, a day after he proposed Mindy Noce.

US Senator Tim Scott, who ended his presidential campaign after he failed to gain traction with voters, received a mega endorsement from one South Carolina voter, Mindy Noce.

Noce said ‘yes’ when the senator, a lifelong bachelor, popped the question to her on Saturday night. He announced that he is engaged to her in a social media post on site X. He also shared a photo where he was pictured kneeling down on one knee at a Kiawah Island beach in South Carolina asking Noce, who is an interior designer, to marry him.

“She said YES. Mindy, thank you for making me the luckiest man in the world,” Scott said in a post. He also quoted the Bible and said: “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the Lord”.

He slipped the engagement ring on Noce’s finger one day after he officially endorsed Donald Trump for president.

He is the only black Republican in the US Senate. He had his own presidential ambitions but his campaign could not win the hearts and minds of the Republican electorate.

Scott announced to the world that he is involved in a romantic relationship with Noce during the third GOP presidential debate in Miami. Noce runs a design and renovation firm based in Charleston and is a mother of three kids.

Scott and Noce met about a year ago after being introduced at church and connecting over Bible study, according to a report by the Washington Post.

“My joke is as soon as I saw her picture, I figured it out. But the truth is about two weeks into it, I knew there was something very different about her and her faith. In our first conversation that went about an hour and a half or two, we ended up deciding to do a Bible study together,” Scott was quoted as saying by the Washington Post.

He received the permission to propose to her from her parents before Christmas.

“I’ve been very patient and prayerful, and I’m really excited and somewhat nervous, and I couldn’t be more thankful for having found a soul mate and someone who shares a lot of the same interests, passions and goals that I do,” he further added.
