Man Loses His Job On The Very First Day For This 'Dirty' Etiquette
The man faced the repercussions swiftly; despite submitting all the required paperwork, he never heard from the office again. He had been fired on the very first day of joining the new job.

The first day in a new office is typically a mix of excitement and stress, as one endeavours to make a strong positive impression on bosses and colleagues alike, whether through work, communication skills, or appearance. However, there’s an aspect rarely discussed but crucial nonetheless: toilet etiquette. While some may dismiss it as funny, a newly employed individual found himself jobless after his very first day due to his lack of proper bathroom hygiene practices.

The man shared his embarrassing ordeal of losing his new job after clogging the toilet with a sizable deposit. The man on his first day, while undergoing induction, needed to attend nature’s call and used the office washroom. In a Reddit post, he admitted to indulging in binge drinking and partying the day before joining his office, and this added to his predicament.

He claimed to have washed his hands, used copious amounts of toilet paper, and even remarked on the lavatory’s cleanliness. However, he forgot to flush the toilet before returning to complete his paperwork. It wasn’t until a female colleague attempted to use the toilet that he realised his mistake.

“As she tried to flush it so she could go, I heard the sound of the toilet flushing, but I didn’t hear the bowl clear—I just heard the bowl fill with water. I was staring at the door,” he recalled. He then witnessed his potential coworker whispering something to the office manager, who appeared displeased. Upon realising there was no plumber available, he advised them to find a means to unclog it.

When the manager inspected the lavatory, they found the water murky with a mixture of brown-streaked toilet paper. Consequently, the man faced the repercussions swiftly; despite submitting all the required paperwork, he never heard from the office again. He had been fired on his very first day.

Internet users showed little sympathy, asserting that toilet hygiene and etiquette are fundamental and that such behaviour would not be tolerated in any workplace.
