“Can’t believe they cooked this in Gurugram,” Kukreja remarked while sharing pictures. The apartments come with a hefty monthly maintenance fee of over a lakh.

Kukreja revealed that the smallest apartment spans 9,500 square feet, with an expected selling price of Rs 80,000 per square foot, adding, “This means that there is now a building in Gurgaon where the cheapest home costs ~ Rs 75 cr ($9m).”

After going through the pricey apartments, netizens started Googling what they could buy for the same amount elsewhere. One individual wrote, “You can get a facing view in Italy for the same price with much better facilities.”

“75 crore for a Gurgaon apartment or an apartment of the same size in the tallest and poshest building in the world Burj Khalifa where apartments start at 6 cr for 1 BHK. Tough choice…,” said another.

A third commented, “For 1.2 million you could get an apartment in Manhattan near Times Square…”
