Amongst the fervour of the match, eagle-eyed fans spotted a mysterious individual sporting a voluminous white beard in entirely white, evoking whispers of Dhoni in disguise amongst the devoted Thala fans.

However, for those indulging in fact-checking, the man was undoubtedly not Dhoni. The former Team India skipper had bid farewell to his IPL 2024 campaign with the Chennai Super Kings and was spotted touring the charming streets of Palermo alongside his wife Sakshi Singh and daughter Ziva.
