CCTV Footage Shows Priest Kicking Devotee Out Of Temple In Aligarh

In a shocking incident, a priest was seen kicking a devotee out of the temple. It took place at Khereshwar Dham temple on Aligarh Palwal Highway near Lodha Police Station. The complaint against the priest has been filed in the police station. The reason for this shameful act is not yet known. The CCTV footage of the incident is going viral. A shameful act of a temple priest has come to light in Aligarh. In a 55-second video footage of the incident, a devotee was seen inside the temple with two other people standing on the side, while he was bowing down to Lord Shiva. After a while, two priests enter the temple and notice something strange in the man sitting on his knees before the Shiva Linga.

Initially, a priest entered the temple followed by another, wearing a saffron lungi and vest. They noticed the strange activity of the devotee and observed him for a few minutes. After that, the people standing behind the devotee approached him and tried to take him away from Shiva Linga. Unbotherd by the other people, the devotee continued his activities.

Angered by the devotee’s actions, the priest first kicked him and threw him out of the temple by beating him with a broom. There is a stir in the police department after the video of the temple priest kicking and sweeping a devotee and running out of the temple went viral on social media. Action will be taken against the accused, if found guilty.

This is not the first time a fight has broken out between the devotees and priests. Earlier this year, a violent clash erupted between pilgrims from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh and the priest at the Sidhpeeth Dakshin Kali Mandir in Haridwar. The fight allegedly began over the issuance of a parking receipt. Upon entering the temple premises with their vehicle, they were asked by the staff to obtain a parking slip. This request led to a heated argument between the parties. The devotees allegedly resorted to violence. After hearing the commotion, the priest tries to interfere but the devotees misbehave with them. This led priests and employees to chase devotees out of the temple.
