‘What’s wrong with India?’ Lately, everyone’s glued to this viral trend where Desis are firing back at foreigners’ negative allegations flooding social media. And to spice things up, an Australian tourist in India named Fozzie the Auzzie (on ‘X’) hopped on board with his unique take on ‘What’s wrong with India,’ claiming he got ‘kidnapped’ in Aurangabad and developed ‘PTSD’ – not your typical stress disorder, mind you, but ‘post-traumatic schezwan dosa’!
“I’ve been kidnapped by a family of Hindutva extremists based out of Aurangabad, India. Someone call the Australian embassy, please,” posted Fozzie on ‘X’. But before you could fully panic, a glance at the photo of Fozzie happily posing with an Indian family hinted at a different story, one where sarcasm was the main ingredient.

“They keep telling me ‘meree patnee ka dosa khao’ while the tiny Hindutva children smear my face in ghee. What is wrong with India? Why do they have to be so cruel to white foreigners,” Fozzie joked, adding his voice to those using the “What’s wrong with India” trend to showcase its positives amid the recent social media backlash following the gangrape of a Spanish woman in Jharkhand.
“It is insane how they are acting as great hosts! Please seek professional help to deal with such cruel post hospitality stress disorde,” jabbed an X user in response to Fozzie’s sarcastic post, to which he retorted: “I’m suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Schezwan Dosa).”
When another user remarked, “They must hate us so much! You look terribly looked after,” Fozzie quipped: “I’m bloated from all the dosa, they are force-feeding me and I can’t tell them to stop!”
Intrigued by Fozzie’s shenanigans, a third user inquired, “Sir can you explain what you see around you.” Fozzie, ever the comedian, painted a vivid picture of his ‘captivity’ in a classic Indian house: “Four walls, a Ganesh murti on the wall and a two buckets of Ghee. somebody help, Uncle Abishek is at work and I’m tied to the chair. Why is India like this?”
