Kapil Sharma needs no introduction. Apart from being a successful comedian and TV host in his professional life, Kapil is also a husband and a father to two– daughter Anayra and son Trishaan. He often shares pictures and videos of his children with his admirers and followers on social media. On Tuesday, Kapil Sharma treated his fans with a sneak peek of his special Father’s Day 2024 celebrations with his daughter Anayra.
Taking to Instagram, Kapil shared an adorable video of his daughter. The clip showed Anayra giving a special handmade greeting card to her father. She also says that she had made it for him, especially for the occasion of Father’s Day.
In the clip, Kapil asks her daughter “Aapne banaya hai? (You made this?)” to which the little girl replied, “Maine banaya hai (I made this).” He further asked about the significance of the card to which Anarya replied, “Aaj Father’s Day hai na, Maine apke liye banaya hai (Today is Father’s Day, I made this for you).” Touched by his little daughter’s sweet gesture, Kapil said, “I love you” to his daughter.
The comedian-turned-host captioned the clip with three red-heart emoticons.
Soon after Kapil dropped the video, his friends and fans took to the comment section and showered love on the father-daughter duo.
Singer Neeti Mohan commented, “Awwwwwwwwieee.” Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina commented, “So adorable.” An Instagram user wrote, “So beautiful so cute.”
Kapil tied the knot with Ginni Chatrath in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Anayra in 2019 and their son Trishaan in 2021.
On his work front, the comedian has recently wrapped up the first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show which premiered on Netflix. The wrap announcement had also left many wondering if the show was going off-air due to low TRP ratings. However, it was clarified later that the wrap is temporary and the show will return with a second season soon.
Apart from this, Kapil has also made a special appearance in Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer comedy film Crew. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film also starred Diljit Dosanjh in a key role.
