Bigg Boss 17: Navid Sole Slams Rajiv Adatia For Criticising The Casting Trend
Navid Sole pointed out the irony in Rajiv Adatia's criticism, considering that the one making these remarks had been connected to contestants during their own stint on Bigg Boss.

The widely watched television reality show, Bigg Boss, consistently captures attention and becomes a topic of discussion. Whether incidents occur among the participants within the house or outside, Bigg Boss manages to provide ample fodder for conversations. Recently, the spotlight turned to two former contestants from different seasons, namely Navid Sole from Bigg Boss 17 and Rajiv Adatia from Bigg Boss 15. Navid, recognised as ‘the sassy pharmacist’ on social media, came across a reel posted by Rajiv Adatia, a fellow ex-Bigg Boss contestant from a previous season. Rajiv’s reel hinted at the notion that only individuals with some connections to the existing participants or those who share a history with the show or its participants are cast.

In his reel, he said people with ‘skeletons’ in their closets would be cast for the show, and other qualifications seemed to matter less. He expressed his perspective on how relatives and ex-partners of contestants were seemingly becoming the preferred choices for casting.

In response to this, Navid Sole took to his Instagram story to share his thoughts. He mentioned encountering a post where a former Bigg Boss contestant criticised the casting trends of the current season. The criticism highlighted the emergence of contestants solely based on their connections, be it as an ex-partner, brother, or sister of an existing contestant. Navid humorously pointed out the irony in this criticism, considering that the one making these remarks had been connected to contestants during their own stint on Bigg Boss.

In his Instagram story, Sole wrote, “I recently came across an Instagram post in which a former Bigg Boss contestant criticized this year’s casting. The post highlighted the trend of individuals becoming contestants simply by being an ex or a brother or a sister of a contestant. The irony is apparent given that the critic was both someone’s ex and someone’s brother during their time on Bigg Boss. LOL”

Navid referred to Rajiv as an ‘ex,’ hinting at his rumored past involvement with Bigg Boss 15 contestant Ieshaan Sehgaal and his known role as the rakhi brother of Shamita Shetty. Even the viewers previously speculated that Rajiv’s wildcard entry into the show was primarily to support Shamita. Navid emphasised the irony in Rajiv’s critique, highlighting that the latter’s entry into the show mirrored the very trends he was criticising in the current season.

As for Navid Sole, his appearance on Bigg Boss 17 resonated well with audiences in India and globally. Despite an early exit from the show, Navid, a popular television personality, has garnered a substantial fan following with previous work in the United Kingdom and now in India.
