New Delhi: After unveiling it at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in March, Lenovo has finally brought its smartphone-camera crossover to the Indian market today.
Priced at Rs 25,499, the phone is available in Carmine Red and Graphite Grey colour options. Pre-booking for the smartphone begin from 6pm today.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot is a 2-in-1 camera smartphone that is equipped with a 16 megapixel rear camera featuring a six-piece modular lens and tricolour flash. It has a full-frame 16:9 low-light sensor for better results in dark environments.
According to Lenovo, photo luminosity in the device adjusts automatically based on the ambient light conditions, and optical image stabilisation reduces blur and keeps photos sharp.
The Vibe Shot is claimed to be always ready to keep up with infrared focus that's twice as fast as normal autofocus and a physical shutter button, which means no more fumbling to find the right spot on the screen to click.
Equipped with both Smart preset settings and advanced Pro settings, users can use the camera how they want by easily toggling between the two settings with the flick of a switch.
The camera-focused smartphone further comes with an 8 megapixel front-facing camera with fixed focus.
The Android Lollipop-based phone features a 5-inch full HD display and under its hood is a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Lenovo is offering 32 GB of internal storage with the Vibe Shot along with the option to expand memory up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The dual-SIM smartphone is 4G enabled and is powered by a 3000mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to 30 hours of talktime.
