New Delhi: Samsung has brought its recently unveiled new Galaxy J smartphones to India today. The Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 are selfie-focused smartphones and were first launched in China last month.
The Galaxy J5 comes with a 5-inch super AMOLED display that offers 1280 X 720 pixel resolution. It runs a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor combined with 1.5GB RAM.
It is based on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop and includes 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB with microSD card.
The Galaxy J5 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash combined with a 5 megapixel front snapper with a 120-degree wide angle lens and LED Flash. The dual-SIM smartphone is 4G enabled and draws its juice from a 2600mAh battery. It has been priced at Rs 11,999.
The Galaxy J7 sports a larger 5.5-inch super AMOLED display and runs a 1.4GHz + 1GHz octa-core Exynos processor combined with 1.5GB RAM.
The camera specifications of Galaxy J7 are same as the Galaxy J5. It also runs the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and supports dual SIM. It is 4G enabled and draws its juice from a 3000mAh battery. It has been priced at Rs 14,999.
These smartphones come in Black, White and Gold color options and are available for pre-booking exclusively on Flipkart.
