The Tamil film industry has seen many actors gain immense stardom over the years. Among them, two of the most prominent names in Kollywood were Sivaji Ganesan and Jayalalitha. Both of them went on to become superstars in the 1960s. They received a lot of love from the audience. Even though Sivaji Ganesan was already an established star when Jayalalitha started acting in films, the duo still worked in 17 films together as leads. All of these films were superhits, and their pairing was highly appreciated by the audience. Now, an anecdote from one of their interviews has been going viral on social media.

According to reports, during the 1960s, Sivaji Ganesan was a huge star in the Tamil film industry. He had already established himself as a leading hero and enjoyed a massive fan following. During that time, Jayalalitha had just started and was trying to establish herself in the industry. At that time, she got the opportunity to interview him for a renowned magazine, where she asked him many interesting questions. One of her questions was about love and lovers. As per reports, Jayalalitha asked him about his views on love stories that are depicted in literature like Laila-Majnu and whether lovers like these are actually there. To which, Sivaji Ganesan said that during that time, texts were written in such a way that people fell in love and then never gave up on each other. These stories were made to say that love never fades away, even after death.

But Jayalalitha was still not satisfied with his answer and asked whether he believed that such lovers are found in this world. Sivaji Ganesan said that he has never been in love.
