Malayalam actor Ramesh Pisharody has officially announced his new film. This marks the actor-cum-filmmaker’s third directorial venture. Ramesh Pisharody took to social media to make the official announcement about this film. He shared the update on Facebook. According to the information, Soubin Shahir is going to be the protagonist of the film. Ramesh wrote, “Friends, Soubin Shahir will be the hero in the next film I am directing. Written by Santhosh Echikkanam. Production Badusha Cinemas (Badusha, Shinoy)." Santosh Echikkanam has written the film, and it is being produced under the banner of Badusha Cinemas. Ramesh shared the exciting information along with photos of the cast and crew of the upcoming film.
Ramesh Pisharody’s first film as a director was titled Panchavarnathatha, a comedy, which was released in 2018. The cast of the film includes Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban, Anusree, Ashokan, and many others. It was produced by Maniyanpilla Raju, under the banner of Maniyanpilla Raju productions. The music in the film is given by M Jayachandran, and Nadirshah, while Pradeep Nair is the cinematographer, and V Sajan has done the editing. The film proved to be a commercial hit, and received mainly positive reviews.
Ramesh’s third directorial venture called Ganagandharvan, starred the Malayalam cinema legend Mammootty in the lead. It was produced by Soumya Ramesh Pisharody, Sreelakshmi R, Shankar Raj R, and Anto Joseph, under the banners of Ichais Productions, Anto Joseph Film Company, and Ramesh Pisharody Entertainments. The film also starred Vanditha Manoharan, Athulya Chandra, Santhi Mayadevi, Mukesh along with many others. Deepak Dev composed the music in the film. It was edited by Lijo Paul, and Alagappan N did the cinematography. The film was released on September 27, 2019.
