Dheekshith Shetty is one of the most sought-after actors and dancers in the Kannada and Telugu film industry. He stepped into the limelight with his acting prowess in the Kannada serial, Naagini. He is now all set to make his debut in the Malayalam cinema as well with a film titled OPPEES. The launch event of this film was held recently. Dheekshith has uploaded the snapshots of this event on Instagram. The launch event pictures show Dheekshith lighting a lamp with other actors in the film. M Jayachandran will compose the music and Pradyumna Kollegal will bankroll this project. As per reports, the shooting of this film will commence in February 2024. Users are eager to know about Dheekshith’s character and the lead actress’ name in OPPEES.

Dheekshith has been making waves with his acting prowess of late. He has solidified his position in the film industry with several films including Dasara. He had a word with the Bangalore Times regarding this phase of his career. He said, “I began my career in theatre and television, and back then, I did not have several scripts lined up waiting for me to pick and choose. The options were very limited. But now, it feels good to have so many offers and the liberty to choose a script that I completely resonate with”.

On the work front, Dheekshith is looking forward to the film Blink, written and directed by Bengaluru Srinidhi. This film is currently in the post-production stage. Chaithra J Achar and Mandara Battalahalli will also act in this movie. In a recent media interaction, Dheekshith talked about this film. He said that Blink is more about human emotions. According to him, the film will be an eye-opener for the importance of humanity and love for fellow human beings. As per Dheekshith, the film will be a new experience for the younger crowd.
