Defending world champions England will be playing their second last game of the tournament as they take on the Netherlands on Wednesday. England have disappointed greatly on Indian soil, registering just one win and six losses in the tournament so far.
They had a poor start to their tournament, suffering a nine-wicket defeat in their opener against New Zealand. Their only victory at the tournament came against Bangladesh when they beat the Asian side by 137 runs.
In their last game, the World Cup title holders lost to Australia by 33 runs.
Despite Dawid Malan and Ben Stokes smashing half-centuries, they fell short of chasing Australia’s 286-run total. They will now be looking to win their last couple of games in the tournament to exit on a high.

The Netherlands returned to the tournament after a 12-year hiatus, with their miraculous performances at the ICC qualifiers in Zimbabwe. However, the Dutch have only managed two victories in India.
They were able to take down one of the title favourites in South Africa before beating Bangladesh. They lost their previous game by seven wickets to Afghanistan and will now be looking to shock a struggling English side as they hope to make more history in India.
