New Delhi: An under pressure Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid on Saturday cancelled his Haj tour amid speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government next week. The cancellation of the Law Minister's Haj trip has also come amid a major controversy over his trust and his war of words with anti-corruption crusader-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, the Union Law Minister denied threatening Kejriwal saying his entire clip was not shown by the media. Khurshid also asserted that he would not resign over the issue, and denied any wrongdoing saying, "I never used the handicapped…I love them and work for them."
He further said, "My party will decide whether I should resign…you will come to know in a few days. I have not embarrassed my party," even as continued his attack against Kejriwal saying "I wonder whether Kejriwal will reply to Digvijaya's questions".
The Law Minister also justified his aggression at a press conference held recently accusing the media of misbehaving with him.
