Ranchi: A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Monday summoned two of former Bihar chief ministers - Lalu Yadav and Jagannath Mishra - in connection with the fodder scam case. The two are likely to appear before a Ranchi court on Monday to record their statements regarding the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37 crore from the Chaibasa treasury.
The case which surfaced in 2009 also dragged some prominent political figures into it.
The court asked Lalu to appear in person to give a statement in the case.
There are recorded statements of 330 other witnesses. Statements of 46 accused, including those of Lalu and Mishra, will be recorded on Monday and Tuesday.
