Drug racket probe: Court stays transfer of Special Public Prosecutor of ED Suresh Batra

Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday stayed the transfer of Special Public Prosecutor of the Enforcement Directorate Suresh Batra.

Batra was slated to be transferred to Bengaluru.

Batra had been investigating the money laundering allegations in Punjab's multi-crore drug racket case.

Batra was to be transferred as Punjab Minister Bikram Majithia's name had come up during the investigation.
