Congress best for Goa, says Sonia

New Delhi: With the assembly elections in Goa round the corner, Congress President Sonia Gandhi the polls would be decisive for

Goa's future.

"Congress is the only party which can give good governance in Goa and empower the masses," PTI quoted Sonia as saying at a public meeting at Campal ground in Goa.

The Congress President lashed out at the BJP, saying the party had played politics of division and hatred.

Sonia claimed the UPA Government had hastened the country's development that had slackened during NDA regime.

Goa will go to polls on June 2 this year.
