President of ‘Bharat’ Droupadi Murmu is all set to host her grand dinner at the G20 Summit venue in New Delhi as all foreign delegates and leaders of the participant countries, including US President Joe Biden, arrive in India. Reportedly, the “specially-curated menu” consists of various Indian delicacies consumed during monsoons as well and popular sweets will also be served to the guests
According to PTI, all preparations are through and senior managers and staff members of a luxury hotel group will set up traditional and grand dinner tables at Bharat Mandapam, which will host the two-day summit.
“We have prepared a specially-curated menu, keeping in mind the culinary delicacies consumed during this (monsoon) season in India. Millet-based dishes will be on the menu too,” a source in the luxury hospitality group told PTI.
G20 Dinner: What’s in Menu Tonight
President’s grand G20 dinner will have tons of Indian and fusion delicacies specially prepared to suit the various tastes of foreign delegates and G20 leaders.
However, a mouth-watering feast is prepared for the guests on Friday as well. Here’s the detailed menu for tonight’s dinner, as per Hindustan Times.

What Desserts Are We Serving To Our G20 Delegates?
“Sweets of varied kinds such as gulab jamun, ras malai and jalebi, etc. are planned to be served,” a staff member told PTI, adding that the serving staff will wear a special uniform.
Apart from that, warm Walnut and Ginger Pudding, Strawberry Ice Cream, Kuttu Malpua and Black Currant Ice Cream will be offered to the guests on Friday as well, according to media reports.
Kuttu Malpua, a speciality from Uttar Pradesh, will be served in bespoke silverware made especially for the occasion.
Crockery and Tableware To Be Used At Special G20 Dinner
A Jaipur-based metalware firm on Tuesday told PTI that several luxury hotels commissioned made-to-order tableware and silverware that would be used by the foreign delegates staying at their establishments and at the special dinner.
Most of the tableware has a steel or brass base or a mix of both with a coating of silver while some of the plates that will be used to serve the welcome drinks have a gold plating, Laksh Pabuwal of Iris Jaipur had told PTI.
About 15,000 silverware crafted by 200 artisans have been made for the summit, it had said.
The designs of the tableware are a nod to India’s rich heritage and its global prominence, said Rajeev Pabuwal of Iris Jaipur.
“The tableware depicts the glorious cultural heritage of India, motifs of flowers, the peacock — our national animal — graces the plates and other items. The silverware will dazzle the heads of state with their cultural sparkle,” he told PTI.
