The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has begun the online registration process for the posts of statistical officer. Eligible candidates can go to the official site of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and register for the same. Candidates should keep in mind that the last date to apply for the posts is October 14.
Furthermore, the RPSC recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 72 posts in the commission. Candidates between 21 to 40 years of age are eligible to register for the offered posts. However, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the recruitment test held by RPSC.
RPSC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Education qualification: To apply for the post, a candidate must possess at least a second-class master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics with a paper in Statistics or in Commerce with a paper in Statistics. OR at least second-class MSc (Agriculture) Statistics and a certificate of RS-CIT course conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited. Other than this, the candidate must have at least one year’s experience in handling official statistics.
Age limit: Candidates applying for the post should be between 21-40 years of age as of January 1, 2024. However, Upper age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates.
RPSC Recruitment 2023: How to apply For Statistical Officer Posts
Step 1: Candidates are advised to visit the official portal of RPSC at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the Apply online tab available on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, a new page will open where candidates will have to key in their details to register themselves.
Step 4: Once registration is done, log in to the account using your credentials
Step 5: Proceed with the application form and pay the prescribed application fees.
Step 6: Hit submit and download the submitted page.
Step 7: Keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
RPSC Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
General /Backward Class (creamy layer)/Economically Backward Class (creamy layer) category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600, whereas Backward Class (non-creamy layer)/ Economically Backward Class (non-creamy layer) Economically Weaker Section/Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disabilities and other reserved category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 400.
