The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2023 round 2 counselling registration tomorrow, December 18. The application process will end on December 21. Candidates can apply for round 2 of the NEET SS 2023 All India Counselling process for D.M./M.Ch./DNB SS seats at the official website — mcc.nic.in.
The MCC had earlier released the revised counselling timetable, as per which, the choice filling and payment will be accessible from December 18 to December 21, and the seat allotment will be processed on December 22. The seat allotment results of the NEET SS 2023 round 2 counselling will be released on December 23. Those who are assigned seats in the round 2 merit list will have to report to their assigned colleges/institutions between December 24 and December 31 to reserve their seats and further document verification.

Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC — mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Select “Super Speciality” from the menu on the homepage.
Step 3: Navigate to the counselling registration link.
Step 4: Login and fill out the form.
Step 5: Download and print the acknowledgement page for future reference.
The NEET SS 2023 took place on September 29 and 30. The results were announced on October 15. There were 150 questions asked in the exam, and according to the marking system, each question carries four marks while one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. The medical group’s NEET SS cut-off was reduced from 272 to 188, the surgical group’s cut-off was reduced from 285 to 225, and the obstetrical and gynaecological group’s cut-off was reduced from 357 to 305.
The 13 disciplines tested in the NEET SS included medical, pharmacology, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, pathology, anaesthesiology, radiodiagnosis, microbiology, psychiatry, surgery, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and orthopaedics. 156 public and private medical schools, as well as Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions, use the NEET SS to admit students to 2,447 seats in Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) programmes.
