Kia India has launched the all-new Carens X-Line in the country. Priced between Rs 18.95 lakh and Rs 19.44 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom), the Carens X-Line flaunts a price tag that’s about Rs 54,000 higher than its equivalent Luxury Plus variants.
Also, the Kia Carens X-Line is available in two versions and sits right at the top of the MPV’s model range.
The X-Line trim, which was first seen on the Seltos compact SUV and later on the Sonet subcompact SUV, aims to add another layer of desirability to the popular people-carrier

The Carens X-Line instantly grabs your attention with its ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ color scheme, setting it apart from the crowd. The exterior exudes an aura of sophistication and sportiness that’s hard to miss.

Inside the cabin, the Carens X-Line continues to impress with its ‘Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green’ theme. The seats, armrests, steering wheel and gear lever cover gets a contrast orange stitching. The biggest twist here is that the Kia Carens X-Line is exclusively available in a six-seat configuration.

The X-Line models come loaded with a rear-seat entertainment package that grants access to an array of features, from podcasts to screen mirroring and a plethora of entertainment and news apps. Besides this, ia has even made it possible to control the rear seat screen using a smartphone app.

Kia Carens X-Line: Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Carens X-Line offers two engine options to cater to a wide range of preferences. You can choose between the 1.5-litre, 158 bhp turbo-petrol engine and the 1.5-litre, 114 bhp diesel engine. Furthermore, the Carens X-Line turbo-petrol variant comes exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the Carens X-Line diesel variant will be equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.
